The Siena Saints men's lacrosse team made it a pair of wins in a row, opening MAAC play with a commanding 17-10 victory over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies at Hickey Field on Tuesday afternoon. It would be the first time since 2015 that the Saints would begin conference play 1-0.

Siena was paced with a strong five-point showing from senior Keenan Cook, as he scored a pair of goals with three assists. Jack Kiernan and Dylan Pantalone each scored three times, while Pantalone added an assist for four points. The Saints had 10 different scorers, which included senior Mike Reilly scoring twice and adding an assist. With his three points, he became the 28th player in program history to eclipse the 100 point mark. Graduate student Aaron Lewis made seven saves in his third win of the season.

The Jaspers are 4-3 on the season, and are 1-0 in MAAC play as they topped the Bonnies back on Feb. 23. However, they are coming off a tough loss at UMass Lowell on Saturday, where they fell 8-5 to the River Hawks. They are led by Luke Hanson, who tops all Jaspers with 27 points on the season with nine goals and 18 assists.

Siena and Manhattan are meeting for the 24th time in the series history, with the Saints owning the advantage 15-8. Siena won last year's meeting on April 27th.
