LOUDONVILLE, NY - The Siena women's lacrosse program looks to keep up their strong play as they open up MAAC play on Saturday afternoon, as they will play host to the Iona Gaels at 1 p.m. at Hickey Field. Siena looks for their fifth win of the season, all coming in the last six games. A win Saturday would already tie their win total from a year ago.

The Siena Saints look to continue their winning ways on Saturday afternoon, as they routed the St. Bonaventure Bonnies by a final score of 18-6 on Tuesday. Redshirt freshman

The Saints are bouncing back from a 5-12 season in 2018, and a 1-7 mark in the MAAC a year ago. However, the Saints return two of their top three goal scorers in Brennan and Gerety. The duo combined for 62 points in 2018, as they look to top that mark in 2019. Goalie
Sammy Horton was a mainstay between the pipes for the Saints last season, as she played every second in front of the twine for the Green and Gold a year ago.
Siena was picked seventh in the MAAC preseason poll, garnering 24 points and a first place vote. The Saints will open up MAAC play at home on March 23 when they play host to Iona, the team picked just ahead of them in sixth in the preseason poll.
