LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Saints will celebrate six of their own on Saturday afternoon, as they get set to face the NJIT Highlanders in their non-conference finale. The Green and Gold have lost three straight after starting the year 5-2, but look to get back on track before concluding the year with a pair of MAAC games against Detroit Mercy and Monmouth.

The Green and Gold will honor their six seniors –
Keenan Cook,
Mike Reilly,
Eric Munn,
Ryan O'Connor,
Aaron Lewis, and
Jack Twohig – as they have been essential in this season's turnaround from a year ago. Cook scored three goals and an assist for four points Tuesday night, coming just four points shy of 100 for his career. However despite Cook's effort, the Princeton Tigers would stop the Saints by a final score of 19-10.
The Saints (5-5) were led by Cook, but supplemented by a three-point night from Reilly. He would score twice, add an assist, and also lead the Saints in ground balls with six.
Dylan Pantalone also scored twice, while Brenden Lantieri secured two points with a goal and assist.
Tyler Menniti and Munn each scored for the Green and Gold as well.
Siena's playoff chances are still alive and well, as the top four teams in the MAAC will play each other on Saturday while the Saints enjoy a bye week. Detroit Mercy will play Canisius, while Marist and Quinnipiac will face off as well. Depending on results, the Saints may end up in a tie for fourth by the end of Saturday.
The Highlanders are 2-10 on the season, as they play without conference affiliation after beginning as a program in 2015. Powered by an eight-point effort from Aaron Forster, NJIT topped the Hampton Pirates in a 26-9 victory on April 6 in Virginia. The Highlanders' offensive explosion set new NJIT single-game records for goals scored (26) and largest margin of victory (17).
Siena and NJIT are meeting for the first time in each program's history.
