LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Athletics announced the hiring of
Kiera Kenyon as Assistant Athletic Trainer. A native of Gansevoort, New York, Kenyon comes to Siena after a three-year stint at SUNY Polytechnic Institute of Technology in Utica, New York.
"We welcome Kiera to our staff, and are fortunate to have someone who has experience with athletes of this caliber," said Siena Head Athletic Trainer
Greg Dashnaw. "She comes from a well-known athletic training program, and her wonderful personality will fit in well with our coaches and players here at Siena."
While at SUNY Poly, she covered all 12 sports for the Wildcats spanning Cross Country, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Lacrosse, Baseball, and Softball. Kenyon gained valuable experience through other platforms, having a short stint at Hudson Valley Community College and three years of working as a per diem athletic trainer at Sweetlax in Pittsford, New York.
Kenyon is a 2016 graduate of SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in dance. Academically, she made appearances on the President's List, Dean's List, and earned the High GPA award.
