LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Saints women's lacrosse program looks to add to their home success on Wednesday afternoon, as they get set to face the Holy Cross Crusaders at Hickey Field. Opening draw for the game will commence things at 3 p.m.

The Saints are coming off a 14-11 victory over the Columbia Lions on Saturday afternoon. The Saints were victorious in their home opener for the first time since 2017 and posted its highest goal total in its first home match of the season since defeating Bryant, 14-11, in 2010. Sophomore
Mary Soures would score five goals in the contest to lead the Saints offense.
Last season, the Saints to would score a 4-3 record at home in the friendly confines of Hickey Field. Three of the wins would come during the regular season, as they were victorious over Hartford, Iona, and Niagara, while they defeated Canisius in the first round of the MAAC Tournament which was hosted at home. They have added to their home success with this past Saturday's win.
The Crusaders currently hold a perfect 3-0 record, with wins over Fairfield, UMass Lowell, and Central Connecticut. Holy Cross would top MAAC foe Fairfield by a final score of 10-8 on the road at Fairfield to open their season. They are averaging 13.0 goals per game and allowing just 4.7 goals per game as head coach Amanda Belichick enters her fifth season with the program.
