HAMPDEN, MA – Siena Men's Golf turned in a three-stroke improvement during day two of the UConn Invitational at GREATHORSE in Hampden, Massachusetts to move up one spot as a team and continue its streak of carding rounds under 300 to begin the season.
The Saints shot 296 to move into seventh in the 16-team field on the par 72-7,093-yard course, and are +19 following 36 holes. Rhode Island (-1) continued to hold the team lead, while MAAC counterparts Iona (sixth) and Rider (15
th) are also in the field.

Brody Yates continued to lead the way for the Green and Gold, carding a round of even, 72 with four birdies to advance into a tie for eighth place individually. Junior
Matthew Ferrari shot +1, 73 to land in a split for 20
th, while junior
Nolan Crowley's +4, 76 put him in a knot for 34
th. Junior
Jack Tobin (+4, 76) and freshman
Dan Brooks (+3, 75) are each tied for 40
th place after two rounds of play to round out the Saints' five-man competition squad.
Siena will conclude action at the 54-hole event on Tuesday, October 4 at 8:30 AM.
