LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Basketball returns to the Capital Region for its final four regular season home games, beginning with a key showdown vs. Manhattan at the UHY Center. The teams are set to square off Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m.
Due to current COVID-19 protocols enacted by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Council of Presidents, fans are not permitted to attend Siena home games at this time.
Robert Lee and Kelly O'Donnell have the call of both games this weekend locally on My4 Albany and elsewhere through ESPN's streaming service. My4 Albany is televised locally in the Capital Region over the air on Channel 51, and is available to Spectrum subscribers on Channel 4. Check your local listings for more information. Friday's game will also be broadcast on ESPN+ with Saturday's contest airing on ESPN3, which are both available on smartphones and tablets via the ESPN app, and on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Siena (9-3, 9-3) returns home for the first time in 34 days where it is slated to host its final four regular season games at the UHY Center. The Saints enter this weekend's series just one game back in the standings of MAAC frontrunner Monmouth, who is currently on pause. Siena has been getting it done on the defenive end of late, where it is allowing just 55 points over its past five games, and now ranks 19th nationally in scoring defense (64.2).
Meanwhile Manhattan (6-9, 5-9) has dropped five of six to sink to 10th place in the standings. The Jaspers have been off for nearly two weeks due to scheduling changes across the conference, having last played on Feb. 13 at Iona. Manhattan leads the MAAC and ranks 22nd nationally in offensive rebounding (12.8), and also stands 30th in the country in turnovers forced (16.1).
The Jaspers lead the all-time series between the programs 55-48, as the schools get set to meet for the 104th and 105th time this weekend. Siena captured two of three meetings last year, and ended Manhattan's season in the MAAC Tournament for the seventh time in 13 years.
Manny Camper averaged a double-double in the three meetings last season vs. the Jaspers, posting 17.7 points and 10.7 rebounds.
