Siena Men's Golf once again took to the Ellington Ridge Golf Course in Ellington, Connecticut for day two action at The Connecticut Cup on Friday. Following 36 holes of play, the Saints sit in 11
th out of 12 teams with a team score of +49, 625.
Siena carded +29, 317 on the second time around on the par-72, 6,936-yard course, with Boston College continuing to lead the field and MAAC rivals Rider (5
th), Iona (T-8
th), Fairfield (10
th), and Canisius (12
th) also participating.
The Green and Gold were once again led by sophomore
Nolan Crowley, who shot +5, 77 in day two with three birdies, and is currently tied for 25
th place individually. Classmate
Jack Tobin carded +9, 81 on the day to split for 49
th after two rounds. Junior
Brody Yates shot +6, 78 to split for 55
th, while
Jack Brown (+12, 84) and
Pudge Williams (+9, 81) are tied for 57
th and 69
th, respectively. Competing as an individual, freshman
Jack Hamilton made 15 of 18 pars to card +4, 76 and finish in a knot for 49
th.
The Saints will wrap action at The Connecticut Cup on Saturday, April 3, with the final 18 holes of action set for tee time starts in the morning.
