Both Siena's men's and women's golf teams closed out the 2021 MAAC Men's and Women's Golf Championships with seventh place finishes and one golfer each earning All-MAAC honors Sunday afternoon at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Following a suspension of play for nearly three hours, round three action was abbreviated from 18 holes to nine due to inclement weather.
Iona (+5, 755) captured its third straight title on the men's side, while Rider's Austin Devereaux (-6, 174) became the first Bronc ever to claim individual medalist honors. Quinnipiac (+30, 750) took home the title on the women's end, while Hartford's Maria Loza (+1, 181) won individual medalist honors. Siena shot +21, 741 as a team on the men's end to fall short of Canisius and Monmouth by one stroke, while the women carded +89, 809.
Capping off a breakout performance that featured his second straight top-5 individual finish, junior
Brody Yates took home his first career All-MAAC honors by shooting +3, 183 to land in a seven-way tie for fifth place on the weekend. The Essex Junction, Vermont native clinches Siena's 35 top-10 individual finish at the MAAC Championship and marked the seventh straight year of competition that Siena has boasted an All-MAAC finisher on the men's side.
Rounding out one of the best Siena careers put together, senior
Jack Brown completed an impressive turnaround to card +4, 184 and tie for 12
th individually on the weekend. The Hudson, New Hampshire product leaves Siena inside the individual program top-10 in several categories, including career stroke average, top-10 finishes, and rounds in the 60's.

Jack Hamilton concluded his first campaign in the Green and Gold with +7, 187 on the weekend to split for 23
rd, while sophomore
Nolan Crowley shot +8, 188 to land in a knot for 26
th. Finally, sophomore
Jack Tobin tied for 34
th on the weekend with +14, 194.
Capping a memorable career in Loudonville that will leave her inside the program's top-5 in career stroke average, senior
Grace Cuttone shot +5, 185 on the weekend to earn her first-ever All-MAAC finish. The Bernardsville, New Jersey native logged the program's 30 top-10 individual MAAC finish and continued a streak in which the Saints have had a top-10 finisher in all 11 years that the award has been given in women's golf.
After transferring into Siena mid-year and almost immediately taking the course for the 2021 spring season, sophomore
Emily Nash completed a successful campaign by finishing 15
th individually at +16, 196. Classmate
Isabella Diaz wrapped her first MAAC Tournament experience in a split for 34
th place with +30, 214, while junior
Lena Kaufman placed 38
th at +38, 218. Sophomore
Ashlee Sample finished 45
th after withdrawing on the final round.
Both Siena Golf programs will now look forward to the 2021-22 season, which is expected to return to normal operations in the fall.
