Siena's men's & women's outdoor track squads posted tops that were near the top of both the program's all-time records, and the best times in the MAAC this season Saturday afternoon. Both teams placed fourth at the River Five Way Meet, held at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
The Saints competed alongside Fairleigh Dickinson, Sacred Heart and fellow MAAC schools Rider and Quinnipiac, walking away with individual wins in four events. Siena brought forth competitors in the 800, 1500, 3000 steeplechase, 5000, and men's 4x400 meter events.
Senior
Morgan Serkes starred on the women's side, winning the 800m with a time of 2:18.15 and taking second in the 1500m with a mark of 4:43.53. Her time in the 800 was good for the second fastest mark in program history and the third best run in the MAAC this season, while the result in the 1500 was the 5
th fastest run in both Siena history and in the conference.
Junior
Olivia Lomascolo found herself at the top of the podium for the second straight meet during the outdoor season, taking first place in the 5000m with a time of 17:11.31. The mark was good for the fastest run in the MAAC this season and the second fastest in program history. Siena swept the top-four spots in the 5000, with senior

Mia Forster, and sophomore
Elaine Atanasova placing second, third, and fourth, respectively. The Saints also represented on the women's end in the 3000-meter steeplechase, with freshman
Katharine Hesler placing third with a time of 12:08.81.
Continuing his breaking season on the men's side, sophomore
Brandon Olden won the men's 5000m race with a time of 14:39.36, 25 seconds ahead of teammate
Stosh Davis, who placed second. Olden's mark turned in at the third-fastest time both in program history and in the conference this season.
The Green and Gold also claimed victory in the men's 3000m steeplechase, with sophomore
Tommy Anderson racing to a 9:33.21 time, Good for the fastest in the league by 20 seconds and the second-best in program history. Senior
Ryan Holland led the way for the team in the 800m, placing 6
th with a time of 2:01.08, while sophomore
Killian McNamee took ninth in the 1500 with a mark of 4:03.03. Finally, Siena's four-man group took fourth place in the men's 4x400 meter relay.
Siena will continue the 2021 outdoor track season by sending select groups of runners to the Redhawks Invitational in Rochester, New York on April 16 and the Monmouth Invitational in West Long Branch, NJ on April 18.
