SPRINGFIELD, MA – Siena Outdoor Track kicked off its final scheduled meet of the 2021 season Saturday, taking part in action at the 2021 ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the campus of American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Saints saw 17 runners qualify and compete in the regional event that features programs from all three levels of NCAA Track, with several runners producing scoring and top-5 finishes.

Siena kicked things off with the running of the 1,500-meter race, as junior
Olivia Lomascolo finished fourth in a personal best time of 4:0.48 for the second fastest mark run in the event in program history. Senior
Morgan Serkes just missed a personal best with an 11
th place finish of 4:35.90, while freshman
Killian McNamee capped off an impressive rookie campaign by finishing 21
st in the men's, with a time of 3:53.21. the mark was good for the third best in program history, while sophomore
Matthew Laframboise took 24
th place with the fourth best mark in Siena history in the event (3:53.55)

The Saints boasted two competitors in the women's 3000-meter race, with sophomore
Delia McDade Clay placing 11
th with the fifth-best time in outdoor program history (10:25.30), while classmate
Sophia Vinciguerra running a mark of 10:59.77 to place 16
th. Â Freshman
Katharine Hesler represented the Green and Gold in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase, taking 14
th with a 12:09.24, while sophomore
Tommy Anderson improved his best time in the men's event to 9:14.40 with an eighth-place finish, and freshman
Jimmy Smith ran a best time of 9:43.70.

Siena was also well represented in the 5,000-meter race, with senior
Regina Rosati placing fifth at 17:28.95 and sophomore
Elaine Atanasova running 16
th at 18:31.93. Graduate Student
Stosh Davis placed 13
th on the men's side with a time of 15:19.92. Finally, senior
Mia Forster took eighth place in the women's 10,000-meter event (37:36.21), while classmates
Carissa Kahn (38:56.85) and
Mary McNally (39:39.84) placed 13
th and 14
th, respectively. Sophomore
Brandon Olden (31:11.92) finished 20
th in the men's events, while senior
Aidan Canavan (31:36.75) placed 23
rd.

The team will conclude the weekend and the season by taking part in the men's and women's 4x800-meter relay events Sunday afternoon.
