WATCHUNG, NJ – Siena Men's Golf continued early season success Sunday and Monday at the Cornell Invitational at the Watchung Valley Golf Club in Watchung, New Jersey. The Saints carded rounds of 292 and 294 to finish with a solid +18, 586, good for seventh place among the 12-team field.
Temple took the team title at -2, 566, while host school Cornell tied for fourth in the 36-hole affair. Colgate's Dugan McCabe shot -6, 136 to take home individual medalist honors.
The Saints, who concluded day one action prematurely due to darkness, ended the first round in seventh on Monday morning before finishing the tournament. Senior
Brody Yates led the team with a top-10 individual finish, carding rounds of 71 and 70 to finish in tie for fifth at 141 with Columbia's Pat Healy.

Jack Tobin also carded a round under par during the event, turning in a 76 and a 70 to shoot 146 total and land in a tie for 17

Nolan Crowley turned in rounds of 75 and 77, respectively, to finish fourth among Siena competitors at 152 on the 6,911-yard, par-71 course in a tie for 45

Nick Lyons carded an eagle on the fifth hole during round two to finish with 74 and 84 in a tie for 63
rd individually, with 158 total.
Siena will have a weekend off before continuing its Fall 2021 season in the month of October. The Saints will head to Hampden, Massachusetts for the UConn Invitational at GREATHORSE October 3-5.
