BOSTON, MA –
Brandon Olden's program-defining season continued Saturday evening with the Siena Indoor Track junior's fourth school record of the season. The broken mark highlighted a solid performance for the men's team to conclude the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Chestertown, New York native put forth a time of 13:45.95 in the 5000-meter race to break his own school record of 14:10.71 set in Boston in December 2021. The mark is the fastest run in the event in the MAAC this season and stands as the fourth-fastest time in MAAC history.
Other member of the men's squad put forth personal best times at the nationally-attended meet, with junior
Tommy Anderson putting forth the third-fastest time in school history in the 3000 with a mark of 8:21.87. Sophomore
Killian McNamee ran a time of 8:25.23, while freshman
Luke Tkaczyk went for 8:30.55 and sophomore
Ryan Shanahan ran 8:38.12.

Tom Ragone entered the program's top-five list in the mile with a time of 4:13.90 for the third-fastest run in a Siena uniform. Junior
Matthew Laframboise ran a time of 4:16.14, while junior
Aidan Gillooley went for 4:20.02 and freshman
Chris Bertola ran a time of 4:24.74.
The Saints also exhibited solid marks in the 800, with junior
Ryan Famiglietti leading the way with a time of 1:57.71. Sophomore
Griffin Cooke followed behind with a mark of 1:58.06, while junior
Nathan Poirier ran a time of 2:01.75.
Following the conclusion of the 2021-22 indoor track regular season, Siena will now gear up for the 2022 MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, which are set for Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20 at the New Balance Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
