Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Siena Water Polo (3-11, 0-1) kicked off its 2022 MAAC schedule on the road Saturday afternoon, falling in a 24-10 decision to #24 Marist at the McCann Natatorium in Poughkeepsie, New York.
 
The Saints kept it close against the nationally-ranked Red Foxes in the first quarter, but following a 5-4 deficit, Marist scored eight of 11 goals in the second period to pull ahead. Senior Georgia Vargas led the Green and Gold offensively with five goals, while sophomore Sydney Arnold recorded a hat trick and Lily Graham and Bianca Prinsloo netted one goal apiece.
 
Siena will look to take a split on the weekend when it welcomes conference rival St. Francis Brooklyn to the Siena Swim Center on Sunday, March 20 in its home opener. Opening sprint is set for 11:30, with live video available on Siena All-Access.
