HELLERTOWN, PA – Siena Men's Golf concluded action at the ABARTA Coca-Cola Invitational in Hellertown, Pennsylvania Monday, tying for sixth place to continue spring action. The Saints used a ten-stroke improvement on day two to record a 36-hole total of +14, 590.
MAAC rival Iona won a playoff hole with Lafayette to claim the team title in the 20-team field, while conference counterparts Monmouth (ninth), Fairfield (12
th), Niagara (T-16
th), and Canisius (20
th) also participated.
Siena's top-three finishers each shot +3, 147 to tie for 16
th place individually, with freshman
Dan Brooks carding -1, 71, junior
Matthew Ferrari going for even, 72, and junior
Jack Tobin shooting +1, 73 in the final day of action.
Junior
Nolan Crowley shot another round of 75 to finish at +6, 160 in a tie for 44
th place, while senior
Brody Yates improved three strokes to card a 74 and finish with +7, 151 in a knot for 52
nd.
The Saints will next head to The Yale Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 16 for one final tune-up before the 2022 MAAC Championships the following weekend.
