LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – Siena's Men's & Women's Golf teams continued action at the 2022 MAAC Men's & Women's Golf Championships at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida Saturday, taking part in another 18 holes of action.
Through two days of competition in the Sunshine State, the men sit in fifth place, while the women rank eighth. Siena's Men's team slipped three spots from second after carding a team round of 300 in round two, while the women improved seven strokes with a round of 332 to move into sole possession of eighth place. The men now sit 14 strokes off of leader Iona, while UAlbany holds a four-stroke lead over Quinnipiac for the top spot in the women's field.
The top performance of the day on the men's side came from junior
Jack Tobin, who fired off six birdies to card a round of -2, 70 on the par-72, 6,825-yard course and move into a tie for third individually from 12

Matthew Ferrari shot +3, 75 to fall into a tie for 19
th at +5, 149. Freshman
Dan Brooks and junior
Nolan Crowley each shot +6, 78 to split for 22
nd, while senior
Brody Yates moved up three spots with a round of +5, 77 into 39
th individually.
Following two rounds of play in the women's competition, freshman
Manoela Barcellos remains the top Saint, improving three strokes from Friday to shoot +6, 78 and move up five spots to 25
th individually. Classmate
Jillian Barend moved into a tie for 34
th with a four-stroke improvement at +9, 81, while sophomore
Margot Osterman shot one stroke better at +13, 85 to finish the day in 38
th. Senior
Lena Kaufman carded +15, 87 to remain in 40
th place, while junior
Emily Nash improved six strokes to shoot +19, 91 and move into 43
rd.
Siena will conclude action at the 2022 MAAC Championships with the final round of play on Sunday, April 24, with tee times beginning at 7:30 AM on ESPN+.
