NEW BRITAIN, CT – Several members of Siena Cross Country competed at the Ted Owen Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Connecticut Saturday morning.
With both teams sending individuals to compete, freshman Chloe Poulos came away as the team's highest individual finisher, taking 14th in the women's 5k with a time of 18:55. Junior Miranda Gilbert (19:56) finished 51st, while freshman Kate DeForest (20:47) took 83rd and classmate Julianna Tourangeau (21:13) finished 99th.
 Sophomore Chris Bertola finished 24th in the men's 8k to lead the Green and Gold, clocking a time of 27:09. Freshman Brody Santagata (27:50) placed 44th, while junior Patrick Fiorillo (29:06) took 102nd and senior Peter Alden (29:33) placed 116th.
Siena's Fall 2022 cross country season continues on Friday, September 30 at the prestigious Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
