MILFORD, CT – Siena Women's Golf saved its best for last to cap the SHU Fall Invite at Great River Golf Club in Milford, Connecticut on Tuesday.
The Saints carded a round of +35, 232 to end the 54-hole event at +122 (331-332-323-986) to finish fourth out of nine participating teams. Despite the team turning in its best round of the week, Franklin Pierce turned in a round three score of 311 to best the Green and Gold for third.
Sophomore
Mackenzie Whitney led the team individually with a ninth-place finish and a three-day total of +21, 237 (80-81-76) while freshman
Emely Kintzel (82-78-79-239) followed just behind in 11
th. Junior
Jillian Barend (82-85-80-247) improved in the final round to tie for 17
th, while senior
Margot Osterman (87-88-89-264) split for 30
th. Freshman
Isabella Silva (93-88-88-269) rounded out the Saints' competition team with a tie for 33
rd.
Siena's Fall 2023 season will conclude October 30-31 at the Shark Invitational in Lawrence, New York.
