TROY, NY – Siena Outdoor Track began what will be three straight days of weekend competition with select runners taking part in the RPI Night Under The Lights at Harkness Field in nearby Troy, New York.
The team featured participants in the 1,500, 800, and 5,000-meter events.
Freshman
Izzy McNamee took third in the women's 1,500 with a time of 5:03.88, while junior
Patrick Fiorillo placed ninth in the men's race (4:04.74) and senior
Nathan Poirier finished 22
nd (4:47.08).
Freshman
Julianna Tourangeau placed sixth in the 800 with a mark of 2:32.11, while classmate
PJ Dauer placed eighth on the men's side with a time of 1:59.97.
Finally, the men's team saw sophomore
Collin Clinton (15:44.21), senior
Peter Alden (15:49.94), and freshman
Brody Santagata finish 13
th, 14
th, and 15
th, respectively, in the 5,000.
Siena will begin two-day competition at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic on Saturday afternoon in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
