KINGSTON, NY – Siena Men's Golf stayed close to home to begin the final week of regular season action, competing at the Roar-EE Invitational hosted by Columbia University. The Saints (+3, 291) tied for seventh with the host school in the 36-hole event that was shortened to 18 holes of counting play due to rain on Saturday afternoon.
Leading the Saints' sixth consecutive team round under 300 was freshman
Austin Giroux, who went -2, 70 to tie for 12
th. Senior
Nolan Crowley joined sophomore
Dan Brooks in shooting rounds of even, 72 to tie for 20
th individually, while senior
Matthew Ferrari went for +5, 77 to split for 52nd. Graduate student
Brody Yates rounded out the five-man competition team with a round of +6, 78 to tie for 57
th, while senior
Jack Tobin turned in the same score while competing as an individual.
Siena will round out regular season competition at the Shark Invitational in Old Brookville, New York April 17-18.
