Siena Water Polo Begins Final Weekend of MAAC Play

Saints Fell to Iona & Mount St. Mary’s in New Rochelle

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Siena Water Polo began the final weekend of MAAC play by taking 17-11 and 14-9 losses to Iona and Mount St. Mary's at the Hynes Center Pool in New Rochelle, New York on Saturday.

The Saints kept pace with the Gaels and were down by only one goal following the first period and two at the half, but the Gaels gradually began to pull away and the Saints could not tie or take the lead. Iona held a definitive 36-22 shots advantage and won all four sprints.
