LEWISBURG, PA – Siena Outdoor Track concluded a busy weekend of mid-season spring action at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic on Sunday at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
The Saints saw runners compete run the 3,000 and the 800 to conclude weekend action at what has become one of the largest collegiate outdoor track events on the East Coast.
Senior
Delia McDade Clay ran a personal best time of 2:14.73 with a 26
th place finish in the 800, which moved her into third on the program's all-time list in the event.
Sophomore
Claire Gardner turned in a mark of 2:17.16,while junior
Jennifer McClintock (2:17.92), sophomore
Keira Flaherty (2:17.96), and freshman
Mattingly O'Rourke (2:23.44) also ran in the event for the women's team. On the men's side, freshman
Tyler Greene (1:54.50) led the way for the Saints in the men's 800, while senior
Matthew Laframboise (1:54.90), junior
Griffin Cooke (1:55.30), and senior
Ryan Famiglietti (2:04.01) also ran in the event.
Freshman
Jayson Chichelli took second place in the men's 3,000 with a time of 8:33.24. Sophomores
Chris Bertola (8:47.34) and
Noah Greski (8:47.36) also took part in the event. Freshman
Chloe Poulos led Siena women's runners with a sixth place finish and a time of 10:13.79, while junior
Isabella Painter (10:30.74) also competed.
Siena's next spring action will come at the Rider Invitational on Saturday, April 22 in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
