Box Score VILLANOVA, PA – Siena Water Polo ended a long losing skid and picked up both its first win in conference play and its first win against a Division I foe this season on Saturday morning. The Saints fired on all cylinders in a 20-8 win over MAAC rival VMI at the Villanova Swim Complex in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
Siena held an early 3-2 advantage after the first quarter before netting seven of eight goals into the half and pulling away for good. The Saints hit the 20-goal threshold for the second time this season while recording its second win in the last three meetings with VMI.
