AUBURN, AL – Siena Men's Golf showed improvement on a rigorous course against a nationally-recognized field on Tuesday in day two of the 2023 NCAA Men's Golf Auburn Regional at the Auburn University Course in Auburn, Alabama.
The Saints shot +24, 312 on the par-72, 7,591-yard course to improve six strokes from Monday's action and finish round two with a 36-hole total of +54, 630, seven strokes behind twelfth-place Augusta.
Senior
Matthew Ferrari shot +6, 78 to land in a tie for 59
th at 155, while freshman
Austin Giroux mirrored his round one score with +6, 78 to end the day in a split for 63
rd with 156. Sophomore
Dan Brooks showed the most improvement on the day with a round of +5, 77 to move up seven spots into a split for 67
th with 159. Graduate student
Brody Yates carded +7, 79 to improve two strokes from Monday and end the day in a tie for 70
th with 160, while senior
Nolan Crowley improved three strokes with +10, 82 to end the day in 73
rd with 167.
Siena will conclude its fourth NCAA Regional appearance on Wednesday, May 17, with tee times from hole one beginning at 9:50 AM CST.
