LOUDONVILLE, NY – After hurdling new challenges and reaching new heights all season long, Siena Cross Country & Track's
Brandon Olden and
Olivia Lomascolo will take the track one final time in a Siena uniform on a national stage this week.
The pair are set to take part in the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track East First Round May 25-26 at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida on the campus of North Florida. Olden will become the second Siena male runner to take part, while Lomascolo will run as the program's first-ever female qualifier.
Olden will compete as the No. 31 seed in the men's 5k on Friday at 8:10 PM, while Lomascolo will run as the No. 39 seed in the women's 10k on Thursday at 9:10 PM. The 2023 NCAA East First Round will take place at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, with Lomascolo racing at 9:10 PM on Thursday, May 25 and Olden racing at 8:10 PM on Friday, May 26.
Both races will be broadcast as part of coverage of the entire meet on ESPN+, while live results will be available at the corresponding link above.
The top 12 finishers from each event will advance to the 2023 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas at the end of the month.
