Keira Flaherty put together a personal record-breaking performance on Friday at the Central Connecticut State University Mini-Meet with a time a tick over the 10-minute mark in the Women's 3K race at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, CT.
Flaherty's official time of 10:00.92 was roughly 37 seconds better than her time in the same event two years ago.
The next best finishers for the Saints were junior
Kate DeForest, who clocked in at 10:23.04 to place 26
th overall.
Mattingly O'Rourke (10:29.33) was 31
st and junior
Julianna Tourangeau ran it in 10:32.48 for 34
th place.
Christina Peppy (10:51.0) and
Jennifer McClintock (11:08.41) finished in 52
nd and 67
th respectively for the Saints.
In the women's sub varsity division, freshman Marris Potter (11:04.46) and sophomore
Katie Hayes (11:30.30) were 15

th, respectively.
On the men's side in the 5K,
Marcus Homa was the top finisher on the team at 15:30.61 for 38
th.
PJ Dauer crossed the line in 15:52.43 for 58
th overall and
Evan Wattie (15:59.43) rounded out the Saints runners at 67
th.
Siena will now get ready for the MAAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, NY. The men's race will begin at 11 a.m. and the women will start at 12 p.m.
