Siena Women's Golf finished round one at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational in 12th place at +35 (315) on the par-70 Normanside Country Club in Delmar, NY on Saturday. 
 
Jillian Barend holed out at +4 thanks to shooting par on 14 of her 18. The senior caught fire on her back nine, shooting just one-over with her lone bogey coming on the par-4 18th. Classmate Mackenzie Whitney enters Sunday's final round in 22nd at +6. 
 
Emely Kintzel spent most of the afternoon positioned well within the top-five, shooting even par on the front nine thanks to back-to-back birdies on the par-4 seventh and eighth holes. She would wind up shooting eight-over on the back nine to end the day in 33rd. 
 
Isabella Silva completed her round at +17, while Chelsea Woods, not included in the team score, shot +23.  
 
The Saints conclude its outing at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
