LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Following nearly two months of regular season competition, Siena Outdoor Track will look to once again impress with individual performances to close out the 2023-24 MAAC Championship season. The Saints are set for the 2024 MAAC Outdoor Track Championships at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex on the campus of Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.

Siena will take part in six individual events – the 800, 3,000, 5,000, 10,000, and the steeplechase – as well as the 4x100, 4x400, and 4x800 relay events over the course of the weekend.
The Green and Gold will look to build on a solid performance at the 2024 MAAC Indoor Track Championships, which featured three MAAC individual titles. Junior
Keira Flaherty claimed gold in the women's 800, while the women's program repeated as MAAC indoor distance medley relay champions with junior

The team has claimed each of the last three men's 10,000 titles at outdoor championships, and also took home an individual women's 5,000 gold in 2023. The program has won at least one individual medal at each of the last four MAAC Outdoor Track Championships, as well as in six of the last seven MAAC Championship events across all seasons. The team took home a program-record three titles at the 2024 indoor, 2023 indoor, and 2022 outdoor championships.
Siena enters the weekend with several Saints in position to medal in their respective events. Hesler (10:44.86) own the best time run in the women's steeplechase by 32 seconds this season in the conference, while fifth year
Tommy Anderson (9:06.06) is tops by over seven seconds in the men's steeplechase. Fifth year
Matthew Laframboise (1:51.98) is third among MAAC competitors in the men's 800 this season, while Flaherty (2:14.10) ran the fourth-fastest time in the conference.
In addition to looking to best eighth and seventh place finishes on the men's and women's side, respectively, in 2023, Siena will also look to put runners in position to qualify for the 2024 ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track Championships May 11-12 in Fairfax, Virginia.
