Saints Fall to Saint Francis (PA)

Siena Finishes Trip to Princeton Invitational

Box Score Siena Water Polo concluded its trip to the Princeton invitational Sunday morning with a 16-9 loss to Saint Francis (PA) from DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, NJ.
 
Catherine Williamson led the Saints (1-2) with four goals - two of which coming in the third period. Bianca Kennerley also registered a pair of goals, both of which occurred in the second. Rebecca Currie, Quincy Frommelt, and Finn Magill rounded out the Siena scoring. 
 
Saint Francis jumped out to a 4-2 lead after the first frame before extending its advantage to 10-6 midway through. The Saints limited the Red Flash to two goals in the third, however, the team scored one of its own before being out-scored 4-2 in the fourth. 
 
Siena returns to action next weekend with three games in Cambridge, MA. The Saints take on Salem and #24 LIU Sat., Feb. 1 at 2 and 6 p.m., before battling #24 Wagner at 11:30 a.m. on Sun., Feb. 2.
