LOUDONVILLE, NY - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) unveiled its 2025-26 Swimming & Diving Coaches' Poll Wednesday ahead of the season. The Saints improved upon last season's ninth-place prediction as the league coaches voted the Green and Gold seventh entering the year.
Each of the top four teams earned at least one first place vote, with Fairfield and defending league champion Niagara finishing neck-and-neck at the top. Behind five first place talkies, Fairfield was voted league favorites with 134 total points, followed by Niagara with 131 points and four first place votes. Marist (125 points - two first place), Sacred Heart (107 points - one first place) and Iona (92) rounded out the top-five.
Mount St. Mary's collected 86 points to come in sixth, followed by Siena (65), Canisius (64), Rider (56) and Merrimack (39) in the top-10. Saint Peter's (20) and Manhattan (17) concluded the poll.
The Saints return 17 letterwinners from last season, including junior
Hope Ivanovich who won the MAAC 100 and 200 fly championship last season. In doing so, she set the MAAC Championships 200 fly record with a time of 2:01.80, while her 100 fly winning time of 54.49 was a program record.
