Swimming & Diving Releases 2025-26 Schedule

Saints Eye ECAC Winter Title Defense, Four Home Meets as Part of Slate

LOUDONVILLE, NY - The return to the pool is right around the corner for Siena Swimming & Diving. The Saints will open their season on Saturday, Oct. 4, against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Iona for the second consecutive season as part of their 2025-26 schedule, which was unveiled Friday.

"I'm very excited for the 2025-2026 season," said head coach Maggie Davenport. "We brought in a talented and well-rounded class of freshmen to add to our strong group of returners. Our schedule will challenge the team and give us some great opportunities to race as we prepare for championships. We're looking forward to showing the hard work the team has been putting in this fall."

The Saints once again open their season against MAAC rival Iona in dual meet action on Oct. 4 in New Rochelle, NY. The inner-conference matchup will be the first of six scheduled meets against MAAC opponents prior to the championships.

Additional MAAC matchups include Canisius when Siena travels to the University of Rochester on Oct. 18; Merrimack at home in a tri-meet also featuring New Hampshire on Nov. 11; Rider and Sacred Heart in Lawrenceville, NJ, on Nov. 8; and Saint Peter's at home on Jan. 31.

The Green and Gold will host a pair of non-conference dates at the Siena Swim Center, which come on Oct. 11 in a tri-meet against Rhode Island and Stonehill, as well as Jan. 17 in a dual meet against Stonehill. The Saints will also travel to Stony Brook (Nov. 15) and Vermont (Jan. 24) for dual meets.

Siena will have its eyes set on defending its Eastern College Athletic Conference Winter Championships title from last season with its return to the event this season from Dec. 5-7 in East Meadow, NY. The Saints won the annual regional event last season for the first time since the 2015-16 season, while Davenport was also named the ECAC Coach of the Meet.

The MAAC Championships will once again take place at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, OH, from Feb. 11-14 as the Saints look to improve upon last season's eighth-place finish.
