Siena Men's Golf couldn't have asked for a better end to the Fall 2025 season than what it put together at its final tournament. Behind a round of -4, 276 as a team in the final round of the 36-hole Crusader Invitational Tuesday, Siena topped the field of 12 teams with a combined score of +4, 564, while junior
Michael McConie took home the individual title shooting -4, 136 over 36 holes.
This marks Siena's sixth consecutive season earning a tournament victory under head coach
Steven Jensen, as well as the fourth straight doing so in the fall season. The Saints most recently won the Lehigh Invitational last fall in what was also the team's season finale.
Entering the day tied for fourth after Monday's first round was suspended due to darkness, Siena completed the first 18 holes +8, 288 Tuesday before finishing the second round immediately after. Siena topped second-place Bryant by seven strokes to win the tournament.
McConie's -4 came together with rounds of -3 and -1 (67-69–136) to top second place by three strokes. Three additional Saints turned in top-10 showings with
Austin Giroux placing ninth at +2 (74-68–142), and
Colton Lusk (73-70–143) and
Michael Broeker (74-69–143) finishing in a three-way tie for 10th.
Gavin Crowley shot -1 Tuesday to end his fall +6 overall (77-69–146), good enough for a share of 21st.
KC Nickel improved by three strokes from his first round to shoot +4 over the final 18 and finish +11 (77-74–151).
