LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Basketball Head Coach Gerry McNamara has announced the first official signing for the Saints incoming recruiting class, with the addition of Christian Gilliland.
 
"Christian is a high-flying combo guard who comes to us with a great pedigree," said McNamara. "He is a hard worker who has an elite upside on both sides of the ball. We can't wait to get Christian on campus in June!"
 
A 6-2, 165-pound guard from Memphis, Tennessee, Gilliland currently stars for Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi. Through his first six games with the Wildcats, Gilliland is averaging 25.3 points on 60% shooting including 57% from three-point range, while adding 3.3 assists.
 
Gilliland, who first announced his commitment to Siena back in June, averaged 26 points per game last season while headlining ABC Prep in Albuquerque, New Mexico, earning an All-Star Game selection in The Grind Session, an elite prep conference.
