Rogers Records All-ECAC Second Team Acclaim

Sophomore Midfielder Earns Regional Distinction For Second Straight Season

LOUDONVILLE, NY – For the second straight season, Siena Women's Soccer sophomore standout Catherine Rogers has earned Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors. The Webster, New York product has once again been named an All-ECAC Second Team selection.

Rogers was already one of just two players in Siena Women's Soccer history (Tara Sobierajski) to earn ECAC honors after also securing Second Team acclaim last season. The Hall of Famer Sobierajski previously earned ECAC First Team recognition in 2015, and Second Team honors in 2016. Moreover, Rogers was one of just five Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference players of the 22 total honorees named to this year's ECAC First and Second Teams.

Rogers earned First Team All-MAAC honors for the second straight season this fall, after ranking tied for fifth in the conference in both scoring (20) and assists (six), and tied for seventh in goals (seven). The consummate student athlete, she was also recently heralded as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection and Academic All-America finalist.

Rogers was one of the prime catalysts for a Siena Women's Soccer program which posted a 9-5-6 overall record this fall, while finishing tied for fourth in the MAAC with a 6-3-3 league mark. The Saints are projected to return a trio of All-MAAC selections – headlined by Rogers – and six starters in 2026.
