LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women's Soccer Head Coach
Steve Karbowski has announced the Saints incoming seven-member Class of 2030.
"We are looking forward to this new class arriving for 2026 and joining the women's soccer program," said Karbowski, who just completed his 27
th season at the helm. "It's a large class of talented, hard-working players. They are all exceptional students of high character, and will be valued additions to both the Siena community and the athletic department."
Liana Crawford | M | 5-4 | Peekskill, NY/Kennedy Catholic
Crawford amassed 61 goals this season, punctuated by a five-goal, one-assist performance to lead Kennedy Catholic to a 6-4 victory over Mount Mercy Academy in the CHSAA state final. The two-time team captain also notched a hat trick to propel the Gaels to the program's first Tier 2 City Championship in nine years. A three-time CHSAA All-League selection, Crawford was the 2023 Lower Hudson Valley leading scorer. She also played two years for Quickstrike FC – earning 2024-25 ECNL-RL All-Region honors – after previously leading Somers FC to consecutive Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association State Cup Championships.
"Liana is a very technical central midfielder," said Karbowski. "She has a great combination of vision to see the field, skill level to make all the passes, and the work rate to cover the midfield. Her distribution and decision making will fit well into our possession."
Noelle Gorham | M | 5-3 | Milton, MA/Milton
Gorham was a 2025 Eastern MA First Team selection and All-Star Game pick for Milton. She also secured
Boston Globe Honorable Mention honors and was previously both a
Boston Globe and two-time
Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic honoree. Gorham recently competed for the Ireland U17 squad, where she started and earned an international cap. A multi-sport standout, she was also a part of Milton's state finalist hockey team, and also competes in Gaelic football. Gorham played for three years for Scorpions SC in the ECNL.
"Noelle is a quick and technical wide player," said Karbowski. "She makes very good decisions on the ball to combine with her teammates and keep possession. Her pace and skill allow her to be very good in 1v1 situations."
Megan Goyette | F | 5-7 | Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna
A local standout, Goyette racked up numerous accolades this fall while leading Niskayuna to its first Section II title since 2016. A United Soccer Coaches All-East Region and First Team All-New York State selection, she was also heralded as both the Section II and Suburban Council Player of the Year while amassing 17 goals and seven assists. A two-time captain, Goyette was a four-time First Team Suburban Council All-Star, two-time Section II All-Star, and a 2024 Third Team All-State honoree after totaling 38 goals and 16 assists for her illustrious career. She also played four years for World Class Football Club.
"Megan is a dynamic striker with great pace and a strong work rate," said Karbowski. "She is equally skilled to hold up possession for the team, as well as make runs onto the ball and finish her chances. The variety in her play will be a great addition in the attacking end."
Isabella Huttner | M | 5-6 | Morganville, NJ/Marlboro
Huttner secured both Second Team All-Monmouth County and All-Shore and First Team All-Division honors this fall. She played eight years for NJ Premier FC, leading the squad to a pair of GA Showcase North Carolina victories, an undefeated mark at the 2025 Jefferson Cup, and a semifinalist appearance at the Zwolle Cup against U21 pro teams in the Netherlands.
"Isabella is a versatile player who excels in any role out wide," said Karbowski. "She is a technical player who plays well with either foot. Her deceptive speed and change of pace allow her a variety of ways to be creative on the ball and create for her teammates."
Rose Trudel | B | 5-9 | Lorraine, QC/Académie Sainte-Thérèse
Trudel joins the Saints from Québec where she led her club team AS Blainville to both a U17 Québec Cup and League Championship, and fifth-place finish at the U17 Canadian Championships. She was previously selected to participate in the 2022 Québec All-Star Game at CF Montreal and represent the Laurentian regional team at the Québec Games. Trudel played for her high school Académie Sainte-Thérèse futsal team which she led to a 2023 provincial championship, and was selected to participate in the 2024 US Youth Futsal National Championship in Kansas City.
"Rose is a central defender who sees the field well and excels with her distribution," said Karbowski. "She is calm and composed on the ball, and will be a strong addition to building possession. Her tactical awareness defensively is very good and always has her in a good position in the back."
Hayden Valentine | B | 5-7 | Burnaby, BC/Burnaby North Secondary School
Valentine matriculates to Siena from British Columbia where she was a four-time captain, All-Star, and Athlete of the Year for Burnaby North Secondary School. She also starred for Burnaby FC, leading the squad to the provincial finals in all three years. Valentine is a member of Team British Columbia.
"Hayden is a composed, athletic, and technical defender," said Karbowski "She reads the game well and makes good decisions on the ball. Her speed and athleticism allow her to cover ground and close down space very well."
Maria Vlahopouliotis | GK | 5-7 | Staten Island, NY/Saint Joseph Hill Academy
Vlahopouliotis starred in goal for Saint Joseph Hill Academy on Staten Island. She earned SIHSSL All-Star honors this fall while also being her team's MVP. Vlahopouliotis was a three-time captain for Cedar Stars Academy.
"Maria is an athletic goalkeeper who plays with a great energy and presence," said Karbowski. "She is very technical and quick to cover post-to-post and controls the box. Her distribution skills and her ability to play with her feet are very good."
The septet joins a Siena Women's Soccer program which achieved a 9-5-6 overall record this past fall, while finishing tied for fourth in the MAAC with a 6-3-3 league mark. In addition to welcoming these seven newcomers, the Saints are projected to return six starters – headlined by a trio of All-MAAC selections – in 2026.
