Box Score 2 Siena Water Polo walked away with a victory at the Harvard Invitational from Cambridge, MA on Sunday. The Saints topped Mercyhurst 12-7 in their first matchup of the day before falling to their third nationally ranked opponent of the weekend in #T-24 Brown 15-7.

Rebecca Currie granted Siena a 2-0 lead midway through the first quarter. The Lakers responded with their first of the game with 2:39 to play in the frame, but
Catherine Williamson and
Lucia Fernandez Caballero scored 30 seconds apart to bring the Saints into the second ahead 4-1.
Williamson notched her second of the game just over 30 seconds into the second before Mercyhurst responded three minutes later. The stifling Saints defense made that the lone Lakers goal of the second, however, while Fernandez Caballero and
Quincy Frommelt scored two more to end the half.
Currie opened the second half with a goal just over three minutes in to put Siena up 8-2. Mercyhurst came back with two straight but
Cece White notched her first of the game to bring the Saints' lead back to five goals. The Lakers went on to score with four seconds left in the third, making it a 9-5 game with eight minutes to play.
Two Williamson goals in the fourth highlighted the Siena attack, while the defense effort fended off a Lakers team fighting down the pool until the final seconds to collect the team's second win of the season.

The Bears shut the Saints out in the first quarter, forcing the Green and Gold into a pair of misses and shot clock violations to lead 4-0 entering the second.
Finn Magill put Siena on the board 1:30 into the second to cut the team's deficit back to three goals, while
Quincy Frommelt kept the three-goal deficit intact with a score following a Brown goal after Magill's.
Catherine Williamson broke through for her first of the game midway through the second to bring the Saints within two, but the Bears produced the final five goals of the second to lead 10-3 at halftime.
Williamson notched the next Saints goal to open the second half scoring just over one minute into the third. After Brown responded with two of its own,
Lucia Fernandez Caballero found the back of the goal for Siena's fifth of the afternoon. The Bears would, however, enter the fourth with a 13-5 lead.
Brown scored two more in the fourth to go up by 10 before Williamson and Fernandez Caballero added the final two Siena goals.
The Saints turn towards Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play, starting on Saturday, Mar. 15 at 11 a.m. against VMI, and 5 p.m. against RV LIU in Lexington, VA.
