For Siena Track stars
Killian McNamee and
Keira Flaherty, they saved some of their best performances for last—to close out the 2025 Indoor Track and Field season in the finals of the IC4A / ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships on site of Boston University's Track & Tennis Center on Sunday.
McNamee, a graduate student from Tolland, CT, closed the last 400 meters of the men's one mile in his fastest split time at :56 to finish in third place overall at 4:10.74.
"Killian ran a very smart and tactical race," said Siena track coach Elizabeth Debole.
As for Flaherty, the senior native of Yorktown Heights, NY, ran the program's fastest 800-meter time for either an indoor or outdoor track time of 2:11.22 to place fifth overall in the event.

Claire Gardner cut her time down from Saturday's preliminary race down from 4:58.18 to 4:57.44 for a seventh-place overall finish in the one-mile.
Another noteworthy time included Chris DeForest, who placed sixth overall in the men's 3k race, clocking in at 8:26.82.
The outdoor track and field season begins for Siena in three weeks when the Saints head to the Black & Gold Invitational on Saturday, March 29 in Smithfield, RI, hosted by Bryant University.
