LOUDONVILLE, NY – It will be a Senior Day celebration for Siena Men's Lacrosse as the Saints pay homage to its graduating senior class of 10 and will welcome in Quinnipiac on Saturday at noon from Hickey Field in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match up.
The Saints (6-4 overall, 4-1 MAAC) are on a roll, having won four in a row, and have vaulted up to one half game behind Sacred Heart and Canisius for the top seed in jockeying for MAAC playoff positioning. The conference's top seed will host both the MAAC Semifinals and MAAC Championship a couple weeks from now.
Siena bring in a high-powered offense as the Saints lead the MAAC in goals per game (12.7), assists per game (8.5) and points per game (21.2).
The team sports the leader in goals in game at 3.4 off the stick of
Pratt Reynolds as well as the assist leader in the conference in
Ryan McCarthy, who is averaging a league-best 3.1 assists per game.
Quinnipiac (2-9 overall, 2-4 MAAC) has lost four straight games, but the Bobcats have been in each of those games.
Quinnipiac lost by just one goal to both Canisius and Manhattan and played Iona and Sacred Heart to relatively competitive defeats.
The game can be watched on
ESPN+ with broadcasters Chris Watson and Tom Schwan on the call and live stats can be followed
