LOUDONVILLE, NY - For the second time in as many seasons, sophomore
Catherine Williamson of Siena Water Polo has been recognized as an All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) standout. The 2024 MAAC Rookie of the Year and Second Team honoree has been named to the 2025 All-MAAC First Team, as announced by the league Wednesday.
A one-time MAAC Offensive Player of the Week this season, Williamson's 92 goals scored were two shy of the program single-season record. She produced a team-high 102 points, and posted a .544 shot percentage while drawing a team-high 43 exclusions. Williamson notched 20 multi-goal games in 26 outings, including a career-high nine against Wagner on April 6.
Through two seasons and 52 games played, Williamson is already ninth all-time in program history with 160 career goals, and serves as the program's all-time leader with a .542 shot percentage.
Additionally, 11 Saints were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
