LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Women's Golf head coach
Noel Gebauer has announced the signing of
Emily Rensch, who is set to join the Saints for the upcoming 2025-26 season. A graduate of Chambersburg Area High School in Chambersburg, PA, Rensch was the 2023 PennLive Mid-Penn Conference (MPC) Preseason Girls Golf MVP.
"We are looking forward to Emily joining our team and helping us continue to raise the bar going forward," said Gebauer.
Also in 2023 she finished third out of 57 in the MPC in scoring average, and was nominated multiple times for Franklin County Student Athlete of the Week. A 2023 postseason PennLive All-Star, Rensch was also the recipient of the 2023 Robert A. Houser Memorial Golf Award.
Rensch joins a Saints team that took strides in Gebauer's first season in 2024-25. The team won two tournaments over the split season – one in each – with the team's first place showing at the Crusader Invitational in the Fall serving as the program's first in 10 seasons. Siena's fifth place finish as the MAAC Championships was also its highest finish since 2019, while the team set a program record for low 54-hole score there (920).
