LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Men's Soccer Head Coach Graciano Brito dipped into the local talent pool with the signing of Bethlehem Central High School standout Muamer Kanic as part of his class of 2029. 
 
"Muamer is a very exciting young talent with a bright future ahead. I've had the privilege of watching him grow and develop over the past few years, and it's been clear that he carries both the passion and the potential to succeed at the next level," said Brito. 
 
The reigning Co-Section II Class AA Player of the Year and First Team Suburban Council All-Star selection notched a program record 16 assists en route to helping Bethlehem capture the Section II Class AA title. An All-State selection, Kanic was also a First Team Times Union All-Star. He played club for the New York Elite Alleycats. 
 
Family ties run deep at Siena for Kanic as he follows the footsteps of his brother Salko Kanic, who played for the Green and Gold from 2020-23. 
 
"Being able to bring another Kanic into our program is truly special; it speaks to the strength of their family and the values they represent," Brito added. "I'm confident Muamer will be determined to leave his own mark, just as his brother did before him. We're proud to welcome him into our family, and I'm genuinely excited to see the impact he'll make both on and off the field."
