Conor Hufnagel each scored a career-high six goals to complete a double sock trick as Siena Men's Lacrosse zipped past Binghamton 14-5 on Tuesday in non-conference action at Hickey Field.

Vito DeBellis was rock solid once again, stopping 11 and had a save percentage of .688 in 56 plus minutes of action to earn his second victory.
The Saints' defense played a pivotal role as Siena (2-1) limited the Bearcats (0-3) to just one goal in three of the four quarters.
Joe Valenza and
Jacob Wells combined for six ground balls and six caused turnovers in leading the Siena defensive unit.
Siena improved to 16-5 (.762) at Hickey Field over the past three plus seasons.
The first quarter began with Binghamton winning the initial face off but failing to capitalize, as turnover issues plagued its early efforts. Siena's
Patrick Linton opened the scoring at 7:50. Shortly after, Radomski extended the lead with a goal assisted by
R.J. Ihlefeld at 7:39. Radomski struck again at 6:33, increasing Siena's advantage. He later completed a hat-trick with a goal assisted by
Liam Lennon at 2:43. The Bearcats struggled offensively, unable to find the back of the net, as the quarter concluded with Siena leading 4-0.
Siena maintained its lead in the second quarter, responding swiftly to Binghamton's scoring efforts. After a goal by Ryan Meyers, assisted by Liam Byrne at 9:14, the Saints answered with a goal from Radomski, assisted by
Gavin Blenk, at 8:42. Hufnagel added to Siena's tally with a goal at 4:12, securing a two-goal lead for the home team. DeBellis was instrumental in goal, making several key saves, including one against Binghamton's Andrew Girolamo in the final seconds of the quarter, to keep Siena ahead 6-2 at the end of the second quarter.
Binghamton mounted a strong comeback attempt in the third quarter, scoring four goals to close the gap. The Bearcats capitalized on a man-up opportunity when Nico Spaziani scored with an assist from Andrew Girolamo at 8:16. Matthew Rincon and Colin DeLay added goals shortly after, narrowing the Saints' lead. Despite a goal from Hufnagel for Siena at 6:41, Nolan Sharkey's goal at 2:14 brought the Bearcats within two goals.
In the fourth quarter, Siena extended its lead with a dominant performance, shutting out Binghamton. Hufnagel led the charge with three goals in the quarter, including a strike at 12:25 assisted by
Travis Fry, and a late goal at 53 seconds left, set up by Radomski. Linton also found the net, scoring with an assist from Radomski at 11:35. Radomski contributed significantly, adding a goal of his own and assisting on multiple occasions.
Siena's defense was strong, with key saves by goalie
Chris Landers, maintaining their lead and securing a 14-5 victory.
Siena held a heavy shots advantage at 46-27 including 24-18 for shots on goal.
