The Siena Men's Lacrosse team dropped its 2026 season opener at #16 / #17 Boston University 23-7 on Friday at Nickerson Field.
The Saints (0-1) fell behind early and dug themselves in a big hole, trailing 8-0 at the end of the opening quarter.
The Terriers' Timothy Shannehan put up five goals and added six assists as BU had 16 players record at least one point.
Conor Hufnagel had one goal and a pair of assists while
Patrick Radomski added two goals and an assist to lead the Saints.
Siena was out shot 56-22 including 36-16 in shots on goal. In the face off "X", BU held a 24-11 advantage.
The Saints will return home for their home opener against Hofstra next Saturday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m.
