Siena Men's Golf opened play at the 2026 Peoples Championship on Wednesday with a first-round score of 292 (+8) at Sea Palms Resort, placing 17th in the 21-team field after the opening 18 holes.
The Saints were paced by
KC Nickel, who fired a 1-under 70 to sit tied for 20th individually heading into the second round.
Gavin Crowley followed with a 2-over 73, placing T-56th, while
Michael McConie posted a 3-over 74 to sit T-71st.
Austin Giroux carded a 4-over 75 to tie for 85th, and
Michael Broeker rounded out Siena's lineup with a 7-over 78 in the opening round.
At the top of the leaderboard, Western Carolina and Belmont share the early team lead after each posted a 7-under 277, just ahead of Samford (-6) and Villanova (-5) following the first 18 holes.
The 54-hole tournament continues Thursday with the second round before concluding Friday at Sea Palms Resort.
