Siena Men's Golf wrapped up play at the Peoples Championship at Sea Palms Golf Resort on Saturday, finishing 12th in a 21-team field with a three-round total of 865 (+13). The Saints posted rounds of 292, 284, and 289, highlighted by a strong second-round performance that moved the team up the leaderboard.
Gavin Crowley led the way for Siena, finishing T30 with a three-round total of 215 (+2). Crowley opened with a 73 before firing a 69 in round two, the team's low round of the tournament, and closed with a 73.
Michael Broeker also turned in a solid performance, tying for 48th at 218 (+5). After an opening 78, Broeker bounced back with rounds of 71 and 69, finishing the week with Siena's best final-round score.
Michael McConie finished T67 at 221 (+8), while KC Nickel placed T71 at 222 (+9) after opening the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 70. Austin Giroux rounded out the lineup in T90 at 226 (+13) and recorded the team's lone eagle of the event.
As a team, the Saints totaled 44 birdies across the three rounds and played the par-5 holes at 4.82 (-11) for the week.
Xavier captured the team title at -14, edging Western Carolina and Samford in a tightly contested event.
