LOUDONVILLE, NY – Three Siena Men's Basketball players have earned Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honors.
Gavin Doty was a unanimous First Team All-MAAC selection,
Justice Shoats secured Second Team All-MAAC acclaim, and
Francis Folefac was heralded a unanimous MAAC All-Rookie Team honoree.

This marks the first time Siena Basketball has boasted multiple All-MAAC selections in three years. The Saints also had three All-MAAC players honored in 2023.

One of only two unanimous First Team All-MAAC selections along with Merrimack freshman Kevair Kennedy – who was also named both the MAAC Player and Rookie of the Year – Doty becomes the first Siena player to earn First Team All-MAAC recognition in five years, dating back to both Manny Camper and Jalen Pickett in 2021.

Named MAAC Player of the Week back on Jan. 26, the Fulton, New York standout currently ranks in the top-10 in the MAAC in multiple offensive categories: third in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.25), fourth in scoring (17.5), defensive rebounding (5.6), and minutes (36:29 – 18
th nationally), seventh in rebounding (7.0), and eighth in free throw percentage (.840). The sophomore guard also paces the Saints with 12 20-point efforts and six double-doubles.

Doty has totaled 543 points – currently 15
th most in program history and the highest total in nine years (Marquis Wright – 555 points in 2016-17) – while his 17.5 points per game is the highest scoring average by a Siena player since Ryan Rossiter averaged 18.7 points during the 2010-11 season.

Shoats secures Second Team All-MAAC acclaim for the second straight season, in the process becoming the first Siena player in five years to repeat as an All-MAAC honoree (Camper and Pickett in 2021).

A two-time MAAC Player of the Week (Dec. 1, Feb. 2), The Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania product is averaging 12.9 points, highlighted by four 20-point efforts. The Saints senior floor general ranks fourth in the MAAC in assists (4.4), and sixth in minutes (35:07).

Folefac was one of four of the five MAAC All-Rookie Team selections to be a unanimous pick. The Lanham, Maryland product was a two-time MAAC Rookie of the Week (Dec. 1, Jan. 12).

The freshman forward ranks third overall in the MAAC in blocks (1.3) and fourth in field goal percentage (.552), while adding 11.2 points and 5.0 rebounds. Folefac has scored in double figures 19 times and registered three double-doubles.

Siena begins its quest for a seventh Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament Championship when the third-seeded Saints face No. 6 seed Mount St. Mary's in the MAAC Quarterfinals Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
