Conor Hufnagel was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday in a vote by the MAAC's sports information directors.
Hufnagle, a native of Yorktown, NY, eclipsed the 100-career point milestone on Saturday to become the 36
th player to do so and the fourth player this season joining teammates
Patrick Radomski,
Caden Olmstead and
Travis Fry, who also completed the feat.
Hufnagel produced a team-high three goals, three assists and one ground ball in Saturday's 14-12 road victory at Mount St. Mary's (Md.) after leading the team with a three-goal effort against UAlbany in the LarGer Than Life Game this past Tuesday in a close 9-7 defeat.
The product of Lakeland High School currently ranks first in points per game among qualifiers with 3.75 points per game, is fifth in goals per game (2.33), fifth in assists per game (1.42) and 10
th in shots per game (5.92).
Siena Men's Lacrosse (11-3 overall, 7-0 MAAC) clinched at least a share of the MAAC Regular Season Championship for a second consecutive season.
Siena is receiving votes in the latest KANE Men's Division I Media Poll and the USILA Coaches Media Poll and will return to the field Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. when it hosts Merrimack (5-8, 4-3 MAAC) in the regular season finale.
