Saints Sign Australian Prospect Tim Ibukunoluwa

Smith Announces Third Addition Since Taking Helm

LOUDONVILLE, NY – New Siena Men's Basketball Head Coach Nevada Smith has officially announced his third addition to the Saints 2026-27 roster, with the signing of Australian prospect Tim Ibukunoluwa.

"We are pumped to add Tim to our family at Siena," said Smith. He is a versatile, 6-8 wing who can rebound to push the ball up the floor, and then finish the play as well. Tim's experience in Australia will be a huge benefit to our team. We are expecting him to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor. Tim plays with a passion and energy that our fans will love."

A 6-8, 215-pound wing from Perth, Australia, Ibukunoluwa has starred for the past two seasons for the Willeton Tigers of NBL1, the top semi-professional league in Australia. In nine games so far this season, he has averaged 12.7 points and 7.3 rebounds over 15.2 minutes of action, while shooting 67% from the field.

Sporting a 6-11 wingspan, Ibukunoluwa was named the 2025 Western Australian Basketball League Finals MVP after leading Willeton to the title with 30 points, 17 rebounds, six blocks, and four assists while shooting 13-17 from the field in the Championship Game. He previously averaged 18.7 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks for the Tigers at the 2024 Australia Footlocker U18 National Championships HoopFest.

Ibukunoluwa played this past winter in Canada for Orangeville Prep in Ontario, where he was named to the Top-75 Senior Boys Watch List and was selected to play in the All Canadian Games. He averaged 17 points, 12.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and shot 41% from three-point range at Orangeville.

Ibukunoluwa becomes the eighth scholarship member of the Saints 2026-27 roster, and third newcomer since Smith took the helm. Ibukunoluwa joins fellow newcomers Trent Egbiremolen and Pace Prosser, re-committed incoming freshman Parrish Edmond, Jr., and returners Brendan Coyle, Reid Ducharme, Isaiah Henderson, and Owen Schlager.
