LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Soccer has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a 17-match regular season slate highlighted by a balanced mix of non-conference challenges, a 10-match Metro Conference schedule, and a postseason run at defending its 2025 conference championship.
The Saints will open the season on the road with a pair of non-conference tests at NJIT on Aug. 20 and at Boston College on Aug. 23. Siena enters the year unbeaten all-time against NJIT (2-0) and will look to build on its landmark 3-1 win at Boston College in 2025, the program's first victory over a Power Conference opponent since 2011.
Siena continues its early-season road stretch with visits to FDU (Sept. 3), UAlbany (Sept. 8), and UConn (Sept. 22), while also hosting Northeastern (Aug. 31) and LIU (Sept. 15). The meeting with LIU marks the first-ever matchup between the programs, while Northeastern will visit Loudonville for the first time since Oct. 7, 1997.
Metro play begins Sept. 19 at Fairfield, followed by the home opener in conference action against Manhattan on Sept. 26. Siena owns a strong recent history against the Jaspers, going unbeaten in its last six meetings (4-0-2).
The Saints' Metro home slate features St. Peter's (Oct. 3), Canisius (Oct. 14), Merrimack (Oct. 28), and Quinnipiac (Oct. 31), while road conference trips include Niagara (Sept. 30), Mount St. Mary's (Oct. 17), Sacred Heart (Oct. 24), and Marist (Nov. 4).
Siena's Oct. 24 matchup at Sacred Heart highlights the league schedule as a rematch of the 2025 Metro (formerly MAAC) Championship, where the Saints captured the program's first conference title with a 2-1 victory. The Saints are 5-0-1 in their last six meetings in Fairfield and hold an 8-3-2 all-time edge in the series.
The final home weekend of the regular season features Merrimack and Quinnipiac. The Oct. 31 matchup with Quinnipiac carries added meaning for head coach
Graciano Brito, who is an alumnus of the program. It will be the first meeting in Loudonville since Siena's 2-1 win on Sept. 28, 2022.
The regular season concludes Nov. 4 at Marist, Siena's most frequent conference opponent with 52 all-time meetings. The Saints have won four straight in the series and are unbeaten in their last five (4-0-1), including a pair of road victories in Poughkeepsie over that span.
The 2026 Metro Championships begin Nov. 7 with the quarterfinals, followed by semifinals on Nov. 11 and the championship on Nov. 14. All postseason matches will be hosted by the higher seed.
Siena enters 2026 coming off a historic 2025 season that included its first conference championship and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance.
