LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Soccer Head Coach Graciano Brito has added international experience and proven collegiate production to its midfield with the signing of transfer Ingvar Kolbjornsen.
 
"Ingvar is an exceptionally talented and dynamic attacking player who will bring a great deal of quality to our program," said Brito. "He has competed at a high level, and that experience will be invaluable to our team. Beyond his ability on the field, Ingvar is someone who leads by example and understands what it takes to be a professional. His influence will be tremendous, especially for our younger players, both on and off the field."
 
Kolbjornsen, a midfielder from Sotra, Norway, arrives at Siena after two seasons at East Tennessee State, where he emerged as a consistent contributor in the Southern Conference. As a sophomore in 2025, he appeared in 15 matches and recorded one assist while registering two shots, including one on target. He followed a strong freshman campaign in 2024 that earned him All-SoCon Freshman Team honors after he played in 16 matches with 12 starts. During that debut season, Kolbjornsen logged 799 minutes, scored one goal, added an assist in a 3-1 win over Gardner-Webb, and attempted seven shots.
 
Prior to his collegiate career in the United States, Kolbjornsen developed at Sotra VGS and competed for Sotra Sportsklubb in Norway, where he played in 49 matches. He also gained international youth experience, featuring in the Scandinavian Championship with Sogndal's U17 program.
 
Kolbjornsen becomes the latest addition to a Siena program coming off a historic season that saw the Saints capture their first-ever conference championship and earn the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance.
